words

Words. There are too many and not enough. I’m not sure what to do with them at this stage in my life, but we are a family of writers and it’s in our DNA to put pen to paper, key to stroke. anywhere, anytime. Words are pictures and pictures conjure up words, emotions, memories, meandering thoughts in search of a place to rest. I’m in the process of sorting out the words and hope you will return to see what I’ve unearthed. If you would like to receive occasional updates, just use the Subscribe from to sign up. A Little Snippet
A couple of years ago while touring Athens and Rome walking around in awe as most people do, I was stuck by the fact that the only thing remaining were compressed minerals and debris turned into rock and marble and then buildings and sculptures. There were no heartfelt letters, unwanted emails, grocery lists, beloved family treasures, just rocks and dirt and the dust of time.
